Many folks hold their breath a least some of the time, either because they're trying to be as quiet as possible or because they get a different overall sensation from the experience. While there's no proving that there's anything wrong with the practice, our official JackinWorld position is that it's probably best to avoid doing it, if only because we're designed to breathe.

o H1N1 Flu Tips
It's cold and flu season and everyone is getting worked up over H1N1 (formerly known as "swine flu"), vaccines, prevention, etc. A couple of words of advice from our medical staff at JackinWorld: wash your hands frequently, and don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth unless you've just washed them and haven't touched anything else in the mean time. If you have a cold or flu, avoid contact with others. Keep your used tissues (the ones from your nose and mouth, not from jackin') away from others, and if you have to cough or sneeze, do it into your elbow or armpit. To top it off, just stock up on a few weeks of food and lube, stay home to avoid contact with the general public, and masturbate while reviewing our collection of techniques.

o A Note for Parents
If you're a parent, please talk with your children about safe sex options. Surveys have shown that kids are becoming sexually active younger and younger, both independently and with partners. Sharing age-appropriate information with them is a great investment you can make in their lives, and works a lot better than keeping your eyes closed and hoping for the best.
